"The area surrounding was amazing, canals, shopping center, old town area was worth exploring. Late night/early morning returning from Amsterdam there were some questionable people about making it feel unsafe if coming back alone. I parked street side less than 2min walk on an EV charger spot where I just had to pay for charging car and not parking. But the receptionist (at the property cafe) said that there is no need to pay for parking between 2100 and 0900 hours. "

"They have bar/restaurant and some rooms in the same floor. However, the sound insulation is very good. Beds have their own curtains, which also contain good privacy. "

"Dutchies had everything I needed for my stay - there were always staff available, the shared kitchen and bathrooms and foyer area were cleaned regularly, and my bed ‘pod’ option was great for privacy. I also really appreciated the fast wifi and the free filter coffee!"

"Property is well located for sightseeing and on a busy street with a supermarket and plenty of food options. Staff were friendly enough and bag store was there for keeping luggage safe after checkout etc. It is run down though and if you dont like steep stairs then it's not one to visit (though this can be said of most Amsterdam hotels). Little things like dirty doors around door handles, and no air con let it down. It was SUPER hot in our room overnight even with the fan provided. It was about...

"Great hostel! Room was quite spacious and everything was kept quite clean. The communnal fridge is quite small and there is only a microwave for cooking. The hostel only takes payment in cash. I missed that memo but the staff were very helpful in pointing me to a nearby atm. There is no in house laundry but there is a self serve laundromat within easy walking distance."

"Unfortunately due to the restaurant next door the whole room smelt of curry including our sheets. The bathroom was mouldy and felt unclean. The bed was really comfortable When we walk our room a rat was in the room next to us which freaked us out and ruined our last night "

"You're literally right next to the Reijksmuseum among other attractions. It's a cheap room to pass out in after a day of doing the actual fun stuff. "
