"Our overall experience at The Mango was quite positive. The facilities look very nice, our room was clean, staff is friendly and helpful and we had a great dinner on our last night. The only drawback was that it was noisy. When people sit in the restaurant area having a little party, it is difficult to nót be bothered by that when you have a room towards the back of the hotel. So bring your earplugs! Still a great place for backpackers."

"Beautiful tranquil villa on a picturesque mountainside. Very clean, open villa with amazing Infinity pool, rainforest showers and dining area. Fantastic view of mountains, tea plantation and rapids. Shuttle service up mountain to villa. Very friendly staff with delicious dining service. Would absolutely recommend this stay. "

Gorgeous

"Lovely hotel, great food, a good mix of western and Sri Lankan. I caved and got pasta one night and it was fantastic. They had an issue with the hot water on the roof and had to go through my room to fix it, but set me up and made me comfortable in another room for a few hours. It was no problem and I definitely feel like they handled it well. The top floor room is amazing. Huge and beautiful view. I'd love to add photos, but the upload tool isn't working on the app. "

"The hotel and staff were truly first class! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, featuring stunning high ceilings and a fantastic balcony with a breathtaking view. Although our stay was short, we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the hotel's charm and hospitality. The location was also perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to town, making it easy to explore the local sights, restaurants, and beaches. A wonderful experience overall, and we can’t wait to return! "
