"Room was assigned and door code given before arrival. No problem with that. Never saw or interacted with staff. Bed was clean and comfortable. Room was a bit dated but clean and huge Had mini fridge, microwave and dining table. No closet/ clothing rack and no hangers. There is complementary coffee, fruit and muffins available in the lobby in the morning. Hotel is located on hill across from lake so driveway is VERY steep and in bad condition. Don’t try if you have bad brakes or car with very low clearance. Parking is in back with parking directly outside door. Pass through the room to a sliding door and sit on the porch with beautiful view of lake. Bar and marina across the street. Boat rentals available there if you are so inclined."

"This B and B was beautiful! The owners were on site daily to greet guests, prepare and serve breakfast, and provide guidance to local wineries, parks, etc. A great location if you are visiting Cornell-approximate 30 minute drive to campus. We were extremely pleased and expect to return 😀"

"Our stay at this absolutely lovely property was truly exceptional. If I could give our host, Christine, 10 stars, I absolutely would! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention she puts into every detail.The property was beautifully maintained, spotless, and incredibly welcoming. We were greeted with a kitchen stocked with breakfast essentials, including delicious fresh-baked bread — such a thoughtful touch! The home was equipped with everything we could possibly need: a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, extra blankets, charging cords for phones and tablets conveniently placed throughout the house, and thoughtfully provided bathroom amenities.The hot tub and spa area were another highlight of our stay. Everything was clean, modern, and designed for relaxation, with subtle timed lighting on the deck and excellent privacy. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat.Christine has clearly thought of every little detail to make her guests feel comfortable and cared for. She also provided wonderful recommendations for places to visit in the area.We only needed to contact her once about the spa room key code — oops, our mistake! She responded immediately and was incredibly cheerful and helpful. While she was available if needed, she was also very respectful of our privacy throughout our stay.We’re planning a return trip and will stay here again.Many thanks to Christine for all the special care and attention she puts into this beautiful home!"

"This property was advertised as an “entire home,” but it was not an entire private home. The house is divided into multiple sections with other people living in the front section of the house, and another bedroom in the back being used as a rental unit.Prior to check-in, the host sent us the access code through the Vrbo chat. However, the host did not disclose in writing that the code was specifically for the back unit of a shared property. Instead, after arrival, the host called us and instructed us to use the back door entrance. This information was not transparently communicated in the listing or in the written check-in instructions, and it appears the setup may have been intentionally unclear.There was smoking, loud activity, and cars constantly driving in and out, which made the environment feel unsafe.In addition, the listing was advertised as a “non-smoking” property. However, the house smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and tobacco due to the occupants smoking on the property. I have serious health concerns related to smoke exposure, and this directly impacted my ability to remain at the property safely. This was not disclosed by the host and was completely inconsistent with how the property was advertised.Due to these conditions we had to leave the property after 30 mins of arrival, as the accommodations did not match the listing description and were not suitable for our stay, and contact Vrbo to report and cancel the reservation."

"First of all, we had a bad situation, that VRBO quickly corrected for us. Long story. Anyways we ended up on the opposite side of the lake that we wanted to be on. This very cute, very romantic in its own way, very quiet and very well designed place turned out to be our favorite in the entire area. We had such a great time over looking the lake, with it’s own little style. Who would have thought a barn would have so much detail and opportunity? The Mrs. Was convinced we should buy this. We both laughed. This place was so inviting and was just the place for the weekend we were looking for. This place is right in the middle of wine country. We bought so much wine and Bourbon. Kind of feel like boot laggers. Lol. Thank you so much for letting us stay. This was a very memorable weekend. A plus!!! "
