"It is a really good property, just note it is down a long narrow road which was fine this morning on the daylight but a little harder to navigate when arriving in the dark. Lovely 4 poster bed, all amenities in the kitchen etc. Comfortable stay thank you. Would recommend "

"It was a lovely place to stay by the river. Walking distance to the wild swimming area which was really nice as I was left with no car. Climbing up and down the hill to the village was very pleasant as well for myself and my baby (carried by a sling). "

"We stay in Bakewell reguarly but this was the first time in this cottage. Overall the cottage is lovely with quite a few quirks that add character. Everything was good on arrival, except we could not find the parking permit. Eventually we found it in the post box. Even though we stayed over the summer holidays, permit parking was widely available and we didn't have any issues. The location is great, 5 mins walk into town. Following on from other reviews, the owners have made some improvements....
