"We couldn’t be happier with our stay here. We are a family of 6, with 4 kids ages 16 through 10 and the cottage held us wonderfully well. It was the perfect size for our summer stay, very clean and well stocked. It had a peaceful, quiet feel and was a great place to hang out together on the days we didn’t feel like leaving the house. We used the walking trails outside the back door every morning and evening, amazing for getting the day started or for winding down. So much to do from this location, Morse Mountain trail to the beach is definitely worth it if 1.8 miles is in your range. We used the bikes provided every day as well as our own. Private Phippsburg residents beach just down the street and popham beach really close too which the kids loved. We went to Portland one day and up by Camden and Rockland another, the drives are part of the fun, stopping off along the way. The cottage is a half mile down a private driveway that passes through a golf course owned by the Sebasco resort hotel. We went down and were able to use the outdoor pool and the bowling alley despite not being guests. We also rented kayaks from a local company provided in the welcome handbook and kept them for 3 days at the private dock beside the cottage. Long story short this place was one of the best places we have stayed in maine and we come up here most years. The host Bob was a pleasure to liaise with, being around if needed anytime. Highly recommend for families like ours. We will be back!"

"Was a very relaxing Maine vacation! Very private and beautiful setting. Loved the cove view from the spacious deck. We also floated on our rafts in at high tide. Beaches were beautiful and close by. Enjoyed the Sebasco Golf Course and restaurant overlooking the beautiful harbor views .Marty was welcoming and very helpful! Just the vacation we needed!!"

"We had a wonderful week at the beautiful Salt Cottage. The cottage is gorgeous (I loved the antique art and furniture) and very large with many outdoor spaces. My 2 young children loved going down to the dock every day and playing Trivia Pursuit on the porch. It was a close(ish) drive to most places, like Portland, Bath and Freeport. And very close to our favorites like Popham Beach and Reid State Park. David and Callie were great - very quick to respond to questions prior to our trip and just overall helpful. Our Michigan family had an amazing time and are so grateful to have found Salt Cottage. Thank you! Jacobys (parents and 2 kids) and Damons (grandparents)"

"The property was clean and well stocked with everything you need. We were greeted with fresh flowers and homemade baked goods. The property owner was very responsive to communications and provide a folder with everything you need concerning the house and local attractions. It was a very pleasant stay."

"Our stay in this beautiful home did not disappoint! Waking to the ocean, listening to the waves as you drift off to sleep, the beach literally steps from your door....it was the most relaxing week!! The house itself is wonderful. The open concept living area made for great family time & dinners and the spacious bedrooms gave everyone their own "me time". I think we walked about 30 miles, exploring the islands at low tide, hunting for sand dollars and exploring the fort on flare night was magical!! Hope to be back!!"
