"Very cute accommodations on the water. I’d recommend holding out for a room with a deck - ours did not. No funky smells which is hard to accomplish on the ocean. Studio had a small fridge, a real coffee maker and coffee supplies. The common room had additional amenities. Very clean."

"First and foremost, Alice, our host, was exceptional! She deeply cares for Maine, Stonington and her home. Her attention to detail is exceptional. She put her heart and soul into the construction of her home, and it shows. The accommodations were top notch. She provides detailed instructions and labels, helping to operate appliances, lights, fans, etc. She truly shared her home, even to the extent of reserving half of the garage for guests. She even had beach towels and chairs available, which we were grateful to utilize when we spent parts of two days at Sand Beach.The kitchen is a gourmet's dream. She even has the tools necessary for a Maine clambake/lobster boil, should you wish to partake.She also has great advice of areas to see and hikes to take through the spectacular coastal and forested surroundings.We can not say enough about Alice and her home, and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area!Thank you, Alice, for making our stay special!"

"Charming in-town farmhouse, walking distance to downtown Stonington. Adored the farmer’s porch for coffee in the morning, wine in the afternoon, and quiet evening wind downs. Easy walk to stores, coffee shop, restaurants, galleries and ice cream. Just a terrific location at a very reasonable price. Although we didn’t need to do much cooking it is worth mentioning that the kitchen was well appointed and easy to work in with much appreciated spices and sundry available. The house retains old style charm but with nicely updated windows, kitchen and bath. It was a great landing place to explore Deer Isle. Robin and Ted are gracious, responsive and helpful hosts. Thanks for a lovely stay!"
