"Everything was good for the lenght of time we stayed there. There isn't any elevators if you stay in the lodges but it's 2 floors maximum. Only complaint was the shower wasn't cleaned properly when we arrived and when they cleaned the room only one bed was made. Otherwise quiet and good compound "

"My family and I came to the area for a weekend getaway to take our son to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City and stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights… and I could say the stay was definitely not long enough! It was a beautiful and quaint little lodge that was tucked away in the wilderness!! I had a mix up on my days and was able to call the owner directly to correct my mistake and he was so helpful and took care of it right away even though I booked through VRBO. "Cute and clean little cabin feel. We loved having the comforts of a place to land after a day of adventures. We appreciated the mini kitchenette for having some meals in and the outdoor amenities were amazing. We cooked some wonderful food on the Blackstone grill, and enjoyed the fire pit on the evening it wasn't raining. Lots of great conversations and company. The owner is very hospitable and there are lots of nice thoughtful touches through out. Don't miss out on this one. We hope to stay...
