"I would rate **El Ranchero Hotel** 4 out of 5 stars. For the price, this is a good, moderate hotel that offers solid value. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, better than at many places where I've stayed. They always seemed happy to assist with anything I needed. "Springhill Hawthorne/Manhattan Beach is in a great location. You are walking distance from shopping, high quailty restaurants, the beach and LAX. We were on the 6th floor with a south facing view of the hills, and also a train car yard for their light-rail. I'm going to also mention a minus because of the elevators. They were very slow for that height but for everyone. Otherthan that the place is great. Breakfast was fantastic. You could get just about anything you wanted. It was alot of people,...
