"The room and breakfast were perfectly adequate for myself and friend who were doing the Borders Abbeys Way walk. Unfortunately, we stayed on one of the nights when an evening meal was not available. Despite being given various options it was impossible, at short notice, to book into anywhere else that offered a meal in Selkirk. "Excellent fewdays in Hawick. Loads to do in Hawick, places to get food & drink excellent and Saturday's can have a real buzz about town if rugby club win. That said Hawick High Street is a bit tired looking & could do with a bit of money spent o it. It has potential to be an excellent visit venue. The Bank Bank House was top class. Donna (the owner) couldn't be more helpful. Ecellemt location, comfy, stylish & clean. Will be back next time im down in Hawick."

"Great location, clean and comfortable room, but only after booking room did I find out that the hotel is not staffed and I would have to call to get an entry code, which required borrowing a bartender's phone to make the call, since I didn't have phone service in Scotland. All this happened very late in the day on a Sunday, where a missed call could have meant nowhere to stay in a small town. They need to change the procedure or give fair warning through Expedia before booking."

"A lovely place to stay in the beautiful Scottish Borders. I was made very welcome and the two hosts went out of their way to help - offering advice on places to eat and willingly providing an early breakfast on the Sunday morning. Breakfast was excellent with all locally sourced fresh ingredients. Room was very comfortable, really clean and quiet. Would highly recommend Bellevue."

"Lovely room in clean house in centrally placed location. Just a couple of negatives. No ordinary breakfast tea in room just coffee or chamomile tea. Lovely shortbread though. No t.v. stations just bbc 1. Plus no breakfast. Wr asked numerous times about breakfast and were told to see Christine. But unfortunately Christine never appeared. Think we had paid for it aswell. It didnt spoil our stay just disappointing. "

"What can I say , this place is amazing . We got there at 8pm on Friday and was greeted by Annette who was so lovley , she had warmed up the hot tub for us and everything was ready. We stayed in the little red gypsy caravan and it was so cute! Perfect for a couple. Also if you’re a bigger person and worry about beds , don’t worry about it here .
