"We stayed for 2 days. Brought steaks and other goodies to grill. We enjoyed the view from the deck. We refilled the hummingbird feeder and enjoyed the many visitors. We've never heard a hummingbird chirp! It was a nice quiet getaway to reset and recharge. We'll be back next time we want a quiet getaway."

"This treehouse is a very cozy little full-service rental. It is great for couples looking for a quiet getaway and would be a great back-to-nature glamping site for a family with small kids. It sleeps 4, but honestly 2 couples would possibly be a little too cozy for our tastes. Lots of DVDs favoring kids movies like The Incredibles, and since wi-fi is nonexistent, we brought our own DVDs for this trip. We almost exclusively use rental homes for our trips now due to having kids and more of a “home” feel. "Very welcoming interior, two balconies for outside fun with a hot tub that worked on the lower balcony. Wish we would have had more bird seed to refill the feeder though. Loved the four separate bedrooms with individual bathrooms. very nice long table with 10? chairs for meals, crafts, and visiting. Walkable to the river for driftwood fun. Take binoculars. Glad I had a pair for the giraffe. Downstairs is difficult to access for handicapped guests with a metal spiral staircase or wooden outside...

"Very nice cabin with well-equipped kitchen. A few other cabins in the vicinity and a convenience store nearby. Other than that, nature. We enjoyed hiking, the hot tub, and the whirlpool bath. There is no WiFi but a collection of DVDs and even VHS, but we didn’t get around to watching any. Lots of games as well."

We really appreciated all of the tupperware containers, to store leftovers in. The lake level at rough river was low. There was also a lot of floating debris at certain times, making it hard to boat or tube.
