There are several great restaurants that are within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood. Stayed for the weekend to attend a sewing workshop at Treadle Yard Goods. The VRBO list a hot tub but there wasn’t one and the info we received at check in from VRBO didn’t have the WIFi info. We emailed the host and she was great! Fast response!...

"We originally planned on staying 2 nights but loved the change of pace from city living so much we ended up extending our stay. Surrounded by a chorus of bird songs all day, lush greenery, hardly any traffic on the road in front of the house, we felt the stress melting away. "We only stayed one night, so it worked well for us. The home itself was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms had anything you would need. The neighborhood seemed to be very nice also, but the yard area was not very inviting for sitting outside, although I do want to say that it appears the owners are in the process of making it more accommodating."

"Beautiful, quirky home that was spotlessly clean and perfectly situated. The neighborhood was quaint but well-kept and walkable. The house was well appointed and perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. As it is a newer rental property, it doesn’t have the usual collection of sundry spices and pantry items left by previous guests so bring all cooking ingredients. The Pac-Man game in the basement was a big hit with the children. I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed the house....

"The cottage was very cute and well stocked with pots and pans and spices if you want to cook. The snacks and water were very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t mind the sound of the trains at night but the blowing train whistle woke us a few times. There are ear plugs there if needed. Unfortunately the lake was over grown with vegetation so we didn’t kayak, but we brought our own bikes and rode the Cannon Falls trail in MN. The trail was beautiful. The owner...

"Our stay was very pleasant. Outside of a lock issue which was resolved in a timely manner, there were no issues. The cottage was well equipped and very clean. The local Macalester College area was a good place to be based. The indoor space was great. I would say the back yard area could have been better and we didn’t end up using it. Overall a good experience. I would stay there again when in Minneapolis/St Paul."

"Property managers were excellent and very responsive and helpful. The pool and arcade were definitely the highlight of our get away. Kitchen is nice with lots of countertop space. Pool was very warm and cozy for all ages with lots of pool toys available."
