"Loved the hut, enjoyed our stay. I brought a 3 course meal with me. So no need to eat out! Lovely and cosy. I would have liked a small saucepan to do porrige in morning. We managed with a big one!! I also wasnt good with lighting the gas rings. I would prefer a long lighter . And no hooks for towels when wet out of shower. In bedroom there were a few cobwebs and spiders in nooks and crannies. Whilst not scared, I felt these had been on ceiling and edges for some time. However bed very cosy....

"What a wonderful property Beautifully decorated with attention to detail. The property is very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, fridge with a small freezer, coffee machine toaster, the host provided tea, coffee pods, hot chocolate and snacks. The host had also left bread and milk for our arrival. "A perfect weekend escape pad. Superbly cosy shepherds hut. Absolutely loved the outside kitchen… even though it rained relentlessly on the night of our stay the kitchen and outdoor dining was such fun. Kitchen kit was plentiful and well thought out.. shame it wasn’t fire pit weather! However, we had the best time and look forward to returning before too long.. thank you for a great weekend stay."

"As a group of 5 friends wanting a weekend get together this was a prefect blend of comfort/quirkiness and countryside living. The converted Horsebox is very homely and tasteful as well as comfortable. We also added the hosts new Italian army truck as secondary accommodation so that we had more space to spread ourselves out. "The flat was in a great location and Martyn the host was very helpful. It’s a large, light and airy space with 2 good sized bedrooms and a huge lounge/diner (though we tended to eat in the kitchen). The decor is very neutral & everywhere is very clean. We would definitely stay again."

"The stable was much bigger than the photos show & was veer clean & spacious with everything to hand. The owners Jan & Nick have thought of everything. The garden & woods are lovely, we were lucky to be there with the bluebells in full bloom. Enjoyed seeing all the animals including horses, rabbits, squirrels & lots of different birds. The stars are amazing when the night sky is clear. Lots of places to visit, we went to Rye, Hastings, Canterbury & Bodiam Castle."
