Rolstoelvriendelijkheid
Het eerste verblijf dat wij geboekt hadden in het Domaine de Bonsoy bleek niet rolstoeltoegankelijk te zijn. Dat was mijn fout. Ik had er niet bop geselecteerd toen ik het huisje boekte. Wij hebben daarop een ander, wel rolstoeltoegankelijk appartement geboekt in Blaimont aan de Rue de Village 25A van 21/6 t/m 26/6. Dit adres heeft twee appartementen. Na boeken bleek dat niet het appartement op de begane grond beschikbaar te zijn, maar dat op de eerste verdieping. Niet rolstoeltoegankelijk dus. De eigenaar heeft wel aan ons gevraagd of dat een bezwaar was. Veel keuze hadden we niet, al betaald en zo en dus zijn we akkoord gegaan. Met veel pijn en moeite heeft mijn vrouw zich op de eerste verdieping gekregen. Na twee nachten kwam het appartement op de begane grond vrij en zijn wij naar beneden verhuisd. Overigens is het appartement beneden ook niet 100% rolstoeltoegankelijk. Het pad naar de voordeur gaat gedeeltelijk over tegels en gedeeltelijk over grint. Verder is er naast het bed in de slaapkamer geen plaats om een rolstoel te plaatsen. Van het appartement boven deed het koffiezetapparaat het niet, kwam er geen warm water uit de kraan in de keuken en deed de plafondlamp in de slaapkamer het niet. Overigens hebben wij van de eigenaar van het eerste huisje dat wij gehuurd hadden en niet gebruikt hebben, de helft van het boekingsbedrag terug gekregen. Bijzonder aardig.
