"Centrally located in Wernigerode, short walk from the station and a short walk to the main shopping area. Bit of a longer walk to the castle. Room was a good nice, nice shower, beds comfortable. Breakfast was included, and was okay."

"We were arriving very late but the hotel staff couldn't do enough to accommodate. They were simply brilliant. Every email sent was replied to very quickly. Our key was placed in a digital lock box and code provided. The bedroom was very spacious along with a wonderful spacious bathroom. The shower gave instant hot water. The variety and quality of the breakfast was absolutely on point. Doubt they could have made it any better. As the hotel is in the former GDR it has wonderful charm and...

"Really great spa and pool, room, and food. Some important details: no spa admission after 8 pm, it reopens at 10 in the morning. Restaurant kitchen closes after 8 pm too, but they still serve drinks and charcuterie. Some staff spoke English and it was helpful because the receptionist did not. Also the credit card machine at the reception wouldn't process Hotels.com charges in dollars (but the restaurant's card reader can do it)"
