Surrounded by the up to 600 m towering mountains of the southern Harz, located in the historic center of Ilfeld, is our family-run guesthouse, which was built in half-timbered style about 1800, as the first school in Ilfeld. Our apartments are named after the surrounding mountains or rock formations.





You live in the apartment "Mönch" for up to 3 persons (about 40 m²) on the ground floor. The apartment can be reached via 4 steps into the house and is thus well suited for older guests. It consists of living room with flat screen TV, sofa set (sleeping area for the third person), wall unit, a bedroom with 2 single beds (which can be made into a double bed), kitchen with electric cooker, dining table with 3 chairs, fridge u. S. W. There is also a window for ventilation with a view of our yard, bathroom with shower / tub, toilet, WC and a window for ventilation with a view of our yard.





Internet via our in-house hot spot is available to you free of charge.





A parking space on our enclosed property is available, by arrangement, free of charge.





The beautiful outdoor area with many flowers, lawn and the outdoor seating invites you to relax, relax or barbecue. Enjoy the view of the mountains and pretty half-timbered houses.





The most beautiful hiking trails start right at our front door.

Shops such as a private butcher's shop with Thuringian specialties and attached food and drinks for daily needs, bread and rolls from the local bakery and a snack for breakfast and lunch (Friday is always grilled) is within 2 minutes walking distance. A Edekamarkt, beverage market and a bakery, gift shop, pharmacy, doctor's office and hairdresser are also in place.





Dialysis for diabetics is available 250m away from our guest house.





Within a radius of about 800m are:
 2 dining outlets, an iced coffee, a pub, the wellness oasis, a gym, a skating facility, a children's playground in the spa park, a bakery, as well as a souvenir, newspaper, jewelery and gift shop and the church.





Within a larger radius (up to 5km) you can reach 4 excursion restaurants, also good on foot.





The Harz narrow-gauge railway runs daily from Ilfeld to Wernigerode, in Selketal, to Quedlinburg and also to the Brocken.
