Surrounded by the up to 600 m towering mountains of the southern Harz, located in the historic center of Ilfeld, is our family-run guest house, which was built in half-timbered style about 1800, as the first school in Ilfeld. Our apartments are named after the surrounding mountains or rock formations.





You live in the apartment "Gänseschnabel" for up to 2 people (about 25m ²) in the EC. The apartment is accessible via 4 steps in the house and is therefore well suited for older guests. It consists of living room with flat screen TV, upholstered suite, kitchenette in a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe, small bathroom with shower, toilet and a window for ventilation with a view of our yard and the garden and a small separate toilet also with window to vent with a view on the yard and in the garden.





 





Internet via our in-house hot spot is available to you free of charge.





A parking space on our enclosed property is available, by arrangement, free of charge.





The beautiful outdoor area with many flowers, lawn and the outdoor seating invites you to relax, relax or barbecue. Enjoy the view of the mountains and pretty half-timbered houses.





The most beautiful hiking trails start right at our front door.

Shops such as a private butcher's shop with Thuringian specialties and attached food and drinks for daily needs, bread and rolls from the local bakery and a snack for breakfast and lunch (Friday is always grilled) is within 2 minutes walking distance. A Edekamarkt, beverage market and a bakery, gift shop, pharmacy, doctor's office and hairdresser are also in place.





Dialysis for diabetics is available 250m from our guesthouse.





Within a radius of about 800m are:
 2 dining outlets, an iced coffee, a pub, the wellness oasis, a gym, a skating facility, a children's playground in the spa park, a bakery, as well as a souvenir, newspaper, jewelery and gift shop and the church.





In the larger radius (up to 5km) are 4 excursion restaurants, also good walking distance
