"The supervisor at check-in said that she put a late check out in the computer as I requested, but she did not. I even asked if I needed to follow up at check out or if I needed to have my keys re-keyed at 11:00 check out. The supervisor said it wasn't necessary since a 1:00 late check out was in the computer. At 11:00 check out, the maid knocked on my door. The late checkout wasn't in the computer. The supervisor expected me to leave. I had to retell my check in story and argue my point. It eventually got settled, but I should not have had to deal with that. I felt like I wasn't believed, and that the supervisor allowed the 1:00 check out just to appease me. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay. I had a great room with a window looking at the lake and a window looking at Michigan Avenue. I was given a nicer view since my room wasn't ready at 3:10 and I had to wait. I think the supervisor felt bad because I had waited and my room still wasn't ready at 4:00. That was nice of the lady. By the way, the supervisor said that the hotel does not honor third party websites perks such as late check out. Not sure why if hotels.com advertised it on the hotel's website. "

"Excellent location in the heart of Chicago! I was traveling solo for work, and while the room was compact, it was thoughtfully designed and worked well for one person — two might find it tight. Loved how they made the most of the space. Breakfast was great quality and reasonably priced. My business partner and I worked in the open lounge on the 4th floor — super comfortable and productive. They do have meeting rooms to rent, but the communal space suited us perfectly. Bonus: really nice outdoor patio"

"Nice hotel…convenient to airport terminals 1, 2 & 3 either by shuttle or underground passages. It’s a bit of a hike from the international terminal…shuttle may be the best option if you have much luggage. Our room was very quiet - unlike many airport hotels. "
