"We appreciated the cleaniness, comfortable and newer furniture, extra table seating used for eating and playing games, well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, large and plentiful towels, camp chairs to use around the firepit, all of the unexpected "extras", large backyard for the grandchildren, availability and friendliness of the hostess. You can tell she spent a lot of time anticipating renters' needs. Our only disappointment is that while most cottages in the area are reserved on a Saturday to Saturday schedule the owners have a more liberal policy allowing Sunday to Sunday and we have been blocked out of the typical Saturday to Saturday vacation that we plan with extended family every year. So, unfortunately, we are not planning to return next year."
