"Cottage was easy to find and the instructions to get the keys from the key box were easy to understand. The village is a quiet rural community, up a steep hill from the local pub with no other facilities but it's a short drive into Ashbourne. The property is nicely decorated throughout with all mod cons. The bathroom is as good as it looks in the pictures. A shame that there is no garden and minimal roadside parking."

"The quality of the property, particularly the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms, is a bit shabby - feels more like a 'Home of Multiple Occupancy' than a holiday cottage. The big living space is great, though, ideal for the ten adults and 2 children in our group. The kitchen needs some TLC - the equipment is old and some of it not very good (the can opener doesn't work, the cafetiere leaks coffee grounds into your mug, one of the kettles is a bit ropey) but the mezzanine style works well in terms...

"Had a great stay at The Croft, lovely, spacious property with plenty of space for all ages. John and Sarah were very welcoming and on hand to share knowledge of the local area. Kitchen well equipped (even has a wine fridge 😁). Would definitely recommend it "

"Lovely little cottage, well maintained with lots of little extras, (including the fresh free range eggs that were waiting for us when we arrived) lovely hosts and of course Poppy who came to see us the last morning of our stay, wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we are visiting this area (or going to the races @ Uttoxeter)"
