"It was comfortable & room quiet after a long drive. service was reasonable considering the staff were stretched during an afternoon party. People were generally pleasant and did well. Pity no food on offer on a Sunday night but since it was a central location there was plenty on offer locally."

"A lovely nights stay in very pretty surroundings. Situated conveniently in the village and across from the church, we were able to make the most of the outdoor seating area due to lovely weather. Staff friendly and service good. "

"Lovely little b &b all the staff we met where very nice and helpful. The food in the pub is amazing and i wish we could have eaten there everynight. Room was cosy but clean. The only comment i has was the shower curtain was quite dark so when pulled across you lost a lpt of light. Kettle ans tea and coffee is provided which is nice. Breakfasts where also very good. You can only really stay here of you habe vehicle access as its a bit of a drive to the towns. But quite and comfy Would stay...

"Great pub with unique rooms. Very welcoming staff and included breakfast was excellent with cooked options. We also ate in the restaurant and again the food was great. Lovely walk down to Bewl water from pub as well. Really enjoyed our stay."
