"The welcome from the staff and service received the whole weekend was very good and has my thumbs up. However the room (although clean) was very 'dated'. "We had a comfortable stay. The breakfast at Khayamanzi was by far it's best attribute. The Dstv signal was very poor... considering that we don't get to watch movies and we just wanted to relax and watch a good movie but couldn't. If you have kids under 4 years old, make bedding arrangements because although the website may not charge you for kids, it doesn't give you options for their stay... Which means you would have to then pay for their stay as an older child."

"We booked the morning of our stay and when we arrived they couldn't find the booking. We were given a room while it was sorted out. The room was large and light with balcony and stunning views of the dam. A few touches like water in the fridge would have been nice. Breakfast was very disappointing. With a few tweaks The Shore House could be fabulous."
