"Property was clean with some modern upgrades. Loved the seclusion and outdoor scenery. One of the grand-kiddos accidentally locked the bathroom door & there was no key/tool onsite to unlock it. Contacting the property management was unhelpful & we were unable to use the 2nd bathroom during the stay. That made it less enjoyable for 8 people staying there :-("

"Pros: (1) Hot tub is relaxing! (2) View is incredible! (3) Clean and well stocked tiny house. (4) Fire pit is great! (5) Just a short drive into town and nearby beaches. Cons: (1) Tv does not tilt down in south side room making it very difficult/ impossible to watch movies at night. We had to use a laptop. (2) Kuerig coffee machine was dirty. We bought a French press instead. (3) Privacy fence does not go the full length of the house. This makes it awkward going to the bathroom...

"We drove from Wisconsin with our dog to stay for 3 nights for my husbandā€™s birthday and it was like we were in a dream! The most basic but well equipped cabin! The absolute deal breaker of the property is the trail that leads to the channel where you have access to kayaks and can go out on the surrounding lakes. Core memories were made! "I booked this cabin based on the fact that it had a garage, but the whole cabin was great. It is located close to the dunes and the downtown area, but it was just far enough off the main road to be pretty peaceful. I would definitely consider returning to this cabin in the future."

"Parents and two adult children stayed in the eagles nest. We stayed upstairs and our boys had the entire downstairs to themselves. It was clean and had recent updates. The host Christine is on site snd responded whenever we had a question. She was great! The entire grounds have recent updates and are well kept. Even the beach had been raked when we arrived. We rented a pontoon boat from Christine and were able to enjoy the entire lake. Enjoyed the hot tub, swam, built a fire. Nice mix of sun...

"This was our third time renting this wonderful and well equipped cabin on the river. We enjoy the location and river access and the fun activities the cabin offers. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into offering an entertaining place to spend with family. Caution, GPS struggles to find it. GPS either takes you to wrong driveway and once you do get to the correct street it stops short of getting you all the way to the right drive."

"7 family members and I rented this beautiful home on a high bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. The check in and check out process was seamless. The home was spotless. We used the kayaks and bicycles that the owners made available to guests (the Hart-Montague bike/pedestrian path, about 5 miles away, is one of the best we have ever been on) and spent many evenings on the two decks overlooking the water. The home is remotely situated in a wooded HOA but Whitehall and Montague were a short drive...
