The hotel was nicely renovated. The lobby and pics are very nice. Rooms are pretty plain, but clean. The wait staff in the restaurant are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
A nice, historic hotel in Harrison. Turned out to be a great time!

The room was clean but it was small. You had to turn sideways to walk between the bed and the wall to get to the bathroom. The bathroom was half the size of the room. There are no chairs to sit in inside the room. Outside the room they have restaurant style booths to sit in. We were on the 2nd floor and when you get off the elevator and look up, some of the ceiling has fallen off. It did have a covered parking area for cars only. The young girl that worked the overnight shift on February 27th 2026 was amazing and very nice. There was an older man filming inside the garage and inside the hotel. I didn’t want to be filmed and had to kindly ask him to point it away as I was coming down the stairs to check out. It’s a good hotel to just sleep in. But if you want to hang in your room or get take out to eat in there well there is no where to sit if you want privacy.
Beautiful hotel and lovely people welcoming us!

The hotel was nice but showing it’s age.
The bathroom was freezing cold in January. We had to keep the bathroom door open at all times to not freeze. Beds are very firm. The staff were friendly especially at the bar and grill.
The room was on the smaller side, but our stay was great! We loved the history of the hotel, which is why we chose to stay there. They survived the great depression and world war II. It kind of felt like we were staying in another country. We would definitely stay again. Anne served us at breakfast. She was very kind. And do not underestimate their pancakes. One is equal to 3, so light and fluffy.
Hotel was quite a treat! Beautiful with very friendly staff!

Covered parking, saved money, small but clean and nice room, comfy bed, hotel bar, restaurant. Overall I was very pleased. I usually stay in one of the big chain hotels, but I’d happily choose this place again. The staff was the most pleasant and welcoming I have encountered in years. I felt bad not eating breakfast after being greeted by the lady I assume was a server. Looking forward to next time!
