Having a hard time with the management at this property. I had cancelled one booking with another 3rd party reservation system and rebooked through Expedia because less expensive. Got to the hotel excited to rest up and use amenities with my son, only to find out that i was booked for 2 rooms. The lady at the front desk called her manager and explained that I had a confirmed cancellation email and he was not sympathetic at all. The SAD part is that he didn't even talk to me. He just told the front desk clerk to give me the General Manager's business card and to reach out to her on Monday- and he just hung up. I have since reached out to the other 3rd party about the cancellation and they have also attempted to reach the General Manager. I have been trying to reach her and it's been a week- no reply. I tried my best to shield my young son from this stress during our stay- he even suggested that we bring our fam back to this hotel and hit up Hershey. I just smiled (because it really is a nice hotel, but how unprofessional can you get?). I wish I got the name of the lady at the front desk- she really felt for me. It's really crazy that the fact I booked through a 3rd party that management was/is so unwilling to help me. I guess I need to be a VIP or premier with IHG for them to be willing to engage with a guest.
