"Having struggled to find accommodation that accepts four dogs, we were thrilled that The Barns allowed two dogs in each cottage. The Barns are set in the most glorious grounds and we loved walking up the long drive talking to the horses and sheep. Both the Coach House and Stables have been beautifully renovated to create very comfortable accommodation. Kerry, our host, was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay. "We adored the house. 10 friends who simply wanted to spend time together. The host was so amazing and helpful supplying really good local stuff to do around the village it’s so central and we thoroughly enjoyed it. "No welcome ' pack ' not even a bottle of milk. Light fittings missing. Main bed the worst ever experienced. The central heating did not work, we sat in overcoats and blankets. Heating set at 16deg. in the middle of winter !Hostess indifferent , realised her responsibility, refused to speak to us and told the agency to ask us to leave due to heating problems and her concern with her insurance Gave full refund but our stay to be near our family was ruined due to lack of maintenance. We particularly loved the kitchen which was perfect for our family get away.
