"Lovely spot, only a minute walk from the station. Beatiful view of the snowy town, above a bakery and only 5mins from the shops. Room was lovely and roomey for two friends on a serendipitous 1 night adventure. Great heating and fancy tap which gives you hot water, mineral water, sparkling water and mild sparkling water! Also the check in was really cool and simple. Will definitely stay here again"

"Een nieuw of volledig gerenoveerd hotel met erg fijne kamers, geweldige badkamer fijn restaurant met goede beperkte maar lekkere lokale gerechten en lekkere biertjes. Ontbijt is zoals je van een Duits hotel gewend bent. Een lopend buffet mag iets uitgebreider maar volstaat. "The hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and bilingual. Room was very large and had a massive window over looking the city. No AC in the hotel but the large windows open and the cool night air was enough to cool off the bedroom at night. Would definitely stay again. The town was magnificent."

"Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. Breakfast was massive European style and quality was superb. Lots of walking opportunities around town with site seeing and hiking just a short drive away. A couple notes, not much English spoken here, or in town at all. People were extremely gracious and we didnt have any issues, but just be aware. Also there are limited hours for the reception and if you think you will even be close to showing up after 7pm local time, reach out and coordinate how to get room access. We did not do this (our fault) and struggled to get ahold of the reception after hours with our US phones. Overall I would def stay here again if I was coming to the area."
