The whole experience revolved around access to hot water. I was late to work because there was no hot water. We didn’t know at that time that hot water was timed to switch off at 6:30 and if one person had a shower, then others cannot. "So lovely, really homely. All the essentials plus bits like sandwich boxes and a slow cooker in the kitchen. Tourist leaflets and info pack could do with udating. Would be helpful to have supermarket/ local market/pharmacy details. Limited rainy day things to do in the flat. No books, family games etc. However, Carlisle nearby. Loads of hidden tea rooms and cafes in the surrounding villages. Maryport is gorgeous."

"We weren't familiar with the area but chose the property for size and facilities. The property was really warm, comfortable, cosy and well equipped. Plenty of kitchen equipment for us to cook for 19. The grounds were lovely. A good base for a day out in the lakes too. Highly recommended!"
