"The hotel is easy to find, great parking, ability to eat at the hotel and sit in a nice beer garden. If you have mobility issues make sure you request ground floor room as there are lots of stairs and long corridors. I stayed in a deluxe room which was advertised as bigger than average. Overall pleasing colour decor. Tea, coffee , water . Now to be picky - the mattresses on the single beds pushed together to represent a" king size bed " need replacing . The shower area needs to be bleached....

"Room was small but lovely. Very noisy at nights which we didnt mind but bare in mind when booking. Breakfast delicious both mornings. Very cluttered with junk in the corridoors and corners which doesn't look great but also could be a fire hazard? Staff really friendly. Good size car park behind. Lovely pub. Great price."

"Room was superb. Turns out I had the bridle suit which was very nice. The only complaint if I had to find one would be the pillows. Looked big and comfy but they wasn’t. All went flat and not very comfortable, but that’s an objective complaint. Food was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will be certainly using this hotel again on my travels. "

"The service was great and the locationanazing. The walls however were very thin and we could hear all the noise from the pub and the kitchen downstairs in the morning. "We had a lovely stay here. Stunning views from the cottage and was all very cosy and well-equipped. Great walks nearby and a pub within walking distance. We used the fire in the living room but it doesn't draw very well, so the room got very smoky (but might be my fire-making skills not being up to scratch!). Not the easiest to get to, especially if you have a large car. You'll need the directions, as it's really tucked away."

"The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile. "Absolutely enjoyed our short stay here at Littledean House Hotel! The rooms were a decent size, beds had comfortable blankets and pillows and the en-suite bathrooms were more than adequate. We were surprised at how much room the kids had to play with their monster trucks 😀! Breakfast was conveniently located at Belfry Inn a short walk away. The view from the garden was lovely. Sand was very efficient at check in and super helpful and friendly when it came to recommendations for food and activities. It was our first visit to the Forest of Dean area and this made for a good experience. Would stay again. We stayed with two small kids 3 and 6 and a wee one 5 months. The staff from housekeeping was also very sweet to the baby. "
