"Wonderful Place"

"Have stayed there before and loved it. This stay not so much the bathrooms needed some attention, but can easily be overlooked, the cabin on the otherhand was not, the beds,and bed linens were absolutely clean and tidy that was about it. Now there are canoes and floaters coming and going ruining the peaceful feeling, it just felt to much like being at Saddler falls or one of those places."

"We were under the impression when we booked that it was a house. However it was a duplex and we had both sides. It worked out fine was just a little disappointing we weren’t all under one roof. The manager was quick to respond to any messages and very helpful. The lake is beautiful and we woke up with ducks and geese right out the back door. We will definitely be booking again in the future."

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The Host is amazing. He checked on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. He called a neighbor to rescue us from a flat tire. I highly recommend to stay here if you get a chance. The fishing is just out the back door, and we caught our limit easily. We had 8 people fishing and had no problem."

"The property was exactly as described. Way out in the middle of nowhere so we could see lots of stars without much light pollution at all! That is the main reason we selected this house. "Upon arrival I was not impressed with some of the "junk" like old RV's, etc. around the area. We arrived late so it was hard to see and find the house. I was a bit nervous due to what I could see. The area is old and run down. The house wasn't as clean as I thought it should be. The towels and cookware need to be replaced. There is no dishwasher so you have to trust the person before you did a good job or hand wash what you use before you use it! Outside of all that, we loved the stay. I loved...

"We rented this to view eclipse. There was 9 of us (73, 47, 38, 36, 17, 15, 8, 6, 3). House was lovely, porch had excellent view of White River. The teenagers spent a few minutes wading in River (very cold water and swift current with limited access). Very remote (which we wanted to view eclipse), and last mile to house is very rough gravel road and could be a problem if it rains. "Property owner was very nice and responded very quickly. The apt was very clean and I was more than pleased with my stay. Easy walk or drive to downtown Hardy. The neighbors were very nosy all night but that’s really the only complaint I had. Everything else was perfect. "
