"Such a quaint and peaceful property. Room was spacious and the view of the lake behind the hotel was gorgeous. It's filled with vintage charm so if you're looking for glossy/flashy, you might not enjoy as much as we did but we loved it."

"Wir haben die Unterkunft ab Mitte Juni gemietet, mit dem Zweck, die Region und ihre Landschaft zu entdecken. Die Lage des Hauses eignet sich sehr gut für diesen Zweck. Wir haben viele Wanderungen in fantastischen Berg- und See-Landschaften hinter uns. Bis zu den Fjords, Odda und Sauda sind es etwa 80 km. Der nächste Einkaufsort (Haukeli) ist 15 Km entfernt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig mit einem großen Wohn/Koch/Essraum, 2 Schlafzimmern und Bad unten. Oben sind 2 kleine Schlafzimmern, ein Bad und ein großes Wohnzimmer mit einem großen Fernseher.Das Haus ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es hat uns nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Da die Hauptstraße etwas weiter weg ist, war es im und ums Haus sehr ruhig. Wir hatten sofort nach unserer Ankunft einen sehr freundlichen Kontakt zum Vermieter bekommen.Generell können wir das Haus nur mit besten Gewissen weiter empfehlen!Danke an Siv und Frode für das Vertrauen und dass wir diese 2 Wochen so schön bei euch genießen durften!"

"It’s a well-designed cabin with plenty of room for our entire extended family of 10. There are great hiking opportunities in both the lowlands and the highlands. Excellent ski trails and a surprisingly nice ski resort for those of us who are primarily interested in skiing rather than just hitting the slopes. We’re tempted to come back in the summer or fall to enjoy the surroundings then."
