"Conveniently located guest house overlooking Chauki Ghat. The staff were friendly and helpful, and a good breakfast was provided. The management were very keen to organise a transfer from the train station, although we suspect we may have paid over the odds for it."

"I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm unfortunately a lot of girls from diffrent rooms (they have their own bathrooms) used our bathroom. they had to walk trough our room to the balcony where the bathroom is located even in the night. They always let the door to the balcony open so many mosquitos came in. The main door of our rooms can't be really closed (2 wing door). So you hear all the noise from the rooftop/ common area with the loud music. Location is great. Food is delicious. Staff friendly. "

"The property is in the very narrowed lane of "Bangali Tola", which is a very dirty & congested area & you have to reach there walking long, asking here & there for the exact building but after reaching, your all anxiety will be relieved with the smiling appearance of 'Dilip', the boy who is always at your service to make your stay happy. "All Good at Sri Oskar Palace. Since it was not high season My Aircon no-river view was complementarily upgraded, to A Riverview room complete with a great shared balcony. They were really good at getting me from and back to the airport with the taxi service. My only issue, and it is not the fault of the hotel, was the aggressive monkeys. They would come onto the balcony and at first, be cute. I made the mistake of letting one sip some beer I poured for it on the top of the wall. It made a great Social Media post, but the next day, two monkeys joined me up on the balcony, and I didn’t have any beer!! They were not happy and acted out towards me… I Didn’t feel totally safe up there after that… Don’t give ANYTHING to the monkeys! Have breakfast away from the edge on the rooftop, because monkeys jumped on our tables and made a mess and broke glasses all over the floor…"

Rooms and was rooms were clean however rooms does not depict what’s shown in booking pictures. Only complaint was the mattress was hard worn out and not comfortable based upon pricing literally all the springs should be felt."

"We enjoyed the views of Ganges and mostly the courteous and respectful staff of all levels. The hotel being right on one of the Ghats, it made us easier to take a battin Ganges. Also free boat ride from the hotel property allowed us to see the entire views of all famous ghats. The restaurant staff Sandeep and Brijesh provided over and above best services. We will visit the Haveli again in the future. "

"We had a room with river view which was lovely. Air conditioner worked well and also had a fan. Hotel staff extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Bed comfortable and shower was very good. Breakfast included which we picked off of a menu. First day raining so we had in our room, second day on the roof top which had great view. After contacting them prior to staying they organised shuttle from airport and return as you can not park close to the B&B. Short walk to lots of restaurant options also and shops for tourist stuff for chemist etc all within easy reach. Would definitely return and recommend."
