We were informed on the day of arrival that the dryer was replaced and would be hooked up three days after the start of our rental. There was some dialogue with the local manager and the local managers supervisor during the course of our stay, but in the end we never had use of a dryer in the house. Far away from noise and people with beautiful hiking trails just a walk down the street. A+ if you want to get away from the city without other tourists around."

"The cottage was definitely rustic and quaint. We loved the screened porch and the location. Do not expect all conditions to be clean and sanitized, however. For instance, the pillow on the main bed needs to be thrown away as does the mattress cover and some blankets (mold and various stains). You do need to bring your own sheets and towels (not sure it stated this in instructions), but it didn't really help with the 'ick factor ' knowing what was under the sheets. "We loved the log cabin in the woods for our NYE celebration. It's quaint and has so much charm. The check-in process and communications were excellent. It is about 4.5 miles off the main road so it is in a remote area. It was great for us since we had our dog and it had a huge property for him to run around. It does have only 1 bathroom so keep that in mind if have many guests. The bed was comfortable as well as the couch. They even had a Christmas tree with lights which as a nice touch. The...

"Communication was great w/ host, very responsive. Cabin was nice, w/ plenty of space. We were disappointed it poured all weekend so we couldn’t use fire pit or venture for a walk to the water falls behind cabin. Roads were hard to travel to get to cabin but other than that, no complaints!"

"Newly renovated, beautifully done, lots of amenities. Responsive owner. Beautiful view, watch the sunset, easy access to Perkins Pond in the front yard, pine needle carpet - bring your crocks or Googone to get the sap off the bottom of your feet.
