"The best so far of our family Japan trip! Hatsue and Genki were the most gracious hosts, embracing us with such kindness us as if we were family. The place was comfortable and spacious, a well kept traditional Japanese home. It was quiet and quaint, a welcome respite and retreat from the noise and rush of the city. "The property is extremely clean. The pension is owned and run by an old amazing couple. The husband is the chef that cooks amazing food so yummy and dinner would be 6 course meal served by his wife! Lovely kind helpful people. Serving water, cold green tea, Ginger Ale for free all the time as much as u want. Free coffee and tea as much as u want. "What a beautiful place to stay! I booked two villas and there was so much space in both the loft and the western style. The area has good public transit to an extent. Easy to get to and from Odawara station by bus. We missed the last local bus twice and had to trek back from the other side of the lake after dinner so be aware of the early schedule. I’m Gluten free so food options are limited here. Having a little kitchen was a lifesaver! The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here...
