Singing Shores is privately nestled along the shore of Kilkenny Cove, bordering conservation land and surrounded by trees, ocean, and a peaceful stream. Take a paddle around one of the nearby islands during sunset or choose to relax and enjoy the evening sky around the fire pit or from the comfort of the hot tub. The whole group will have a blast playing in the game rooms, which include ping pong, shuffleboard, Pop-a-shot basketball and an arcade room. When you want some down time, you can lounge in a hammock or take a stroll along the rocky shore during low tide and enjoy seeing eagles, seals and marine life. The magnificent Great Room serves as the heart of the home, offering a generous gathering space with lots of natural light, plush seating and views of the ocean. It's the perfect place to unwind, share conversations, or simply take in the beauty of the coastline.

Situated halfway between Acadia National Park’s two primary locations on Mount Desert Island and on the Schoodic Peninsula (each 30 minutes away), and 5-20 minutes away from a variety of additional hiking, boating and ocean-themed outings, you will have no shortage of opportunities for adventure.

The home is ~10 minutes away from Ellsworth with restaurants, groceries and shopping.

This comfortable home is available to book year-round and is truly a destination in itself. Whether you’re visiting for cozy winter nights or sunny summer days, there’s always something special to enjoy here.

Other things to note (December through March)
In the winter months, all-wheel drive is necessary to access the home. The property is very private and located down a long driveway. While the driveway is plowed and sanded regularly, a suitable vehicle is required during the colder, icy months.

Also, during the colder months, access to the fire pit is not maintained or shoveled if there is snow. From November - early April the kayaks are stored away for the season, and the stairs leading down to the water have been removed to prevent damage.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor areas at their own discretion.
