Mornings at Tidal Ledge are best started with a cup of coffee and a walk down to the shoreline. Spend the afternoon exploring Acadia and the Downeast coast, then return home to relax by the water as the tide rolls in.

As evening falls, gather around the oceanside fire pit and look up — on a clear night, the dark Maine sky offers incredible views of the stars and Milky Way.

Tidal Ledge borders a nature preserve, making wildlife part of the experience. Bald eagles, harbor seals and a wonderful variety of coastal birds are frequent visitors, often visible right from the lawn.

And if you're here in July or August, keep an eye out for the wild Maine blueberries growing on the property — perfect for your morning pancakes.

Tidal Ledge is designed for guests who appreciate the character of a Maine cottage without giving up the comforts of home.

The single-level layout includes two spacious bedrooms — one with a king bed and the second with a queen — along with one full bathroom.

The home is thoughtfully appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, luxurious Turkish bath towels, high-thread-count linens, washer and dryer, strong Wi-Fi and a 75-inch television with Roku streaming.

On those wonderfully cool Maine evenings, settle in by the gas-log fireplace and enjoy the view.

Close to Acadia — Away From the Crowds

Tidal Ledge offers the best of both worlds: easy access to Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island, Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and the Schoodic Peninsula, while providing a peaceful waterfront setting away from the busiest tourist areas.

Spend your days hiking Acadia, exploring coastal villages, visiting local lobster pounds or discovering the quieter corners of Downeast Maine.

Tidal Ledge is best suited for adults and families with children age 16 and older due to the home's proximity to the ocean and elevated decks.

To maintain the condition of our home and for the comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted under any circumstances.
