"Nice, well maintained property. Room had a good view of the water. Took advantage of the whirlpool after dark with a partially obscured view of the bridge at night. Very cool Breakfasts were underwhelming. But we didn't mind too much since good breakfast places are to be found on either side of the river. Overall a very enjoyable stay."

"The room, breakfast, and staff were excellent but the parking was problematic in that there simply wasn't enough. The towns of Houghton and Hancock were interesting and the mining history of the area was fascinating. Napoleon at the front desk was accommodating and thoughtful even when he was the only person at the desk on a very busy weekend. 10 stars for him!!"
