"The beachfront location was perfect, and we really enjoyed being on the east side of the island which allowed us to explore the other parts of the island pretty easily. The grounds are gorgeous and being situated very closely to a couple good restaurants and a small shopping center was very convenient. I would say a few of the staff were less than helpful, and we were not informed that housing only comes on the 5th day of your stay. Since we didn’t know that, we inadvertently put out the “do not disturb “ sign on our 5th day. Once we found out about housekeeping, we asked them to come the following day (day 6). They did NOT come the following day, and when we asked for towels on the morning of our 7th day, we were told that we didn’t need them since housekeeping came. We got the towels and told them housekeeping didn’t need to come, since we were checking out the next day. We left for the day, and returned to find housekeeping had come and replaced our fresh towels with new fresh towels. Another issue that we had was a smoke alarm went off at 2am in the unit right below us, and because they don’t have 24/7 staff on site, it continued to alarm until about 10am. Needless to say, didn’t get any sleep that night. So even with the issues about lack of communication from the staff, and a lack of urgency in getting issues addressed, I would stay there again due to location."

"This is our second time reserving this property. It is an easily accessible location to get to and from beaches, hikes, and excursions. Very family friendly and accommodating. The staff team create a welcoming environment and treat you like family. I’ll definitely stay here again."
Ko'a Kea Resort on Po'ipu Beach

"If you are planning a stay at Poipu, stay at Ko’a Kea. It is a small boutique property but experienced enough to provide great service, grounds and food. The property was well maintained and clean. It is right at the oceanfront and our room faced it, just steps away. Everything we ate and drank from the bar menu and Red Salt was superb. There are a some things that could be improved that are not Hurricane Lowell related. The bathroom and shower could use updated tile and trim and a double sink. Also, although we did not notice a smell, the rooms are carpeted. Hardwood flooring or similar just feels cleaner. The rooms were tastefully decorated and bed comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return!"

"Wonderful location, can walk to restaurants and shops in less than 10 minutes. Beautiful spot to catch the sunset on the water across the street. Poipu lots of beaches you can walk or drive to near by. Rooms were very clean! Fabulous pools, and a nice adults only pool that felt very secluded. Great value!"

"Room was clean and adequate. 1 sink. Bed comfortable. LBT flooring. Food was very good. Pool very nice. Beach access and view great. Ocean view room clear to ocean although the view of roof top below was dirty and could use some TLC. Generally nice stay for 3 days near the airport. Would do it again."
