"The Ryder was the perfect hotel for our girls trip. Very retro and fun vibes. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The location couldn't have been better. It was close to everything we wanted to walk to. I do wish they had more seating at the pool. Half the deck is rentable sofas and the other half is very large upholstered loungers. Only a few people can get seats and the others are left lurking and waiting for one to open up. I also wish there was a coffee maker and fridge in the room. None of these are things that would cause me to not come back, just touches that would be nice when you pay as much as you do to stay here. "

"Was completely blown away by this property. It definitely deserves more stars. Its brand new clean comes with buffet breakfast and dinner and three free alcoholic drinks per adult. The pool was quiet and nice. Only thing is it is over a flight path so you hear the airplanes, but you kinda get used to it And they go over you a lot in the pool. But it was actually pretty cool."

"The hotel was a great place to stay for every need you have to be in Charleston. We enjoyed our stay very much with an exception of our room being at the elavators. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise coming and going. Other than that we would stay there again. "
