"This home is a beautiful colonial home; the lobby is decorated with antiques that make you feel in the colonial time. The rooms are cozy and very comfortable with access to an interior patios located on the fist and second floors; it also has a roof terrace. The property has a bar and restaurant; the breakfast is not only affordable but delicious and abundant; variety of local fruits, natural juices, milk, coffee, choices of eggs, bread, cheese, membrillo ,and pancakes. However, the best about Casa Torrado is the kindness of their hosts; a very nice and friendly couple that made us feel at home at the very first hello. My family and I strongly recommend everyone to stay at Casa Torrado. "

"We loved this casa which is in a great locarion. Simple but tastfully decorated with a shared patio at the back. Felix who looked after us was super helpful with recommendations etc - Felix and his brothers and mum who run the casa really work hard to make your stay perfect. The breakfasts were great, we particularly loved the little hotcakes. The casa also has a generator to power some lights and plugs during a blackout so you can still see and charge phones etc (important when you can consider there 3 blackouts of different lengths whilst we were there). We also did the guided city tour with Felix's brother - would highly recommend doing this even if Trinidad is quite small. His brother shared so much interesting info and took us into places we would have missed otherwise. We would definitely stay here again if back in Trinidad "

"Yoselin’s casa is well-located between the two major plazas in Trinidad. The available room is large and the ensuite bathroom is private and clean with hot water (except during frequent city-wide power outages. She is very kind and, although my Spanish is poor, she helped me figure out how to find the office of a tour company I had booked with for a trip to Topes de Collantes. Recommended "

"We’ve stayed in many casas and Residencia Margarita is truly one of the best! The house has a lovely homely feel, with friendly hosts and two very sweet dogs and the rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, with everything needed for a short stay. The breakfasts were also excellent and generously portioned, perfect for a day exploring Trinidad and the surrounding areas. In terms of location, the casa is outside of the centre of Trinidad (about a 10 minute walk to Plaza Mayor) which we appreciated as it’s away from the noise which goes late into the night in the centre of town, and felt peaceful and quiet, but safe and easy to get back to at night. "
