"We loved everything about our short stay in Ethel, a shepherd's hut here. The site is wonderful with large grounds and is full of surprises. Talking trees, anyone? We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast in The Quickening Tree restaurant on site. The bar area is packed with interesting art and animatronics. I especially will remember the animated pteranodon. Oh and an illuminated skeleton behind a glass panel in the floor. Fabulous!"

"The room smelt fresh and was clean. It was comfortable and had a decent en-suite. The hotel manager was very polite, pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast which was healthy and sufficient. It was a small hotel but that didn’t matter. "

"This quaint and traditional B&B is a great location for Shakespeare lovers who wish to be in walking distance of the RSC and Stratford old town. It is located across the bridge and so is in a quieter area away from the business of the town center. Within a 5 minute walk you are in historic Stratford and all the restaurants and shops. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is parking available on site which was very advantageous. "

"Working in the area, made a change from the standard hotels, lovely and clean and carpets throughout made my stay nice and quiet, well maintained and pleasant welcome from Peter, Met Justine in the morning, welcoming well catered breakfast available. "A lovely place to stay, our room was very cozy and clean and smelt lovely. The breakfast was very good. What you have to take into consideration is, it is a working farm so not everything is going to be squeaky clean. I enjoyed my time there, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again."

"This is a beautiful property within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon. Our room had a stunning view, was beautifully furnished with a super comfy bed and included a fridge with water and milk, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a huge modern shower and large fluffy towels. There were plenty of choices for breakfast and it was all cooked perfectly.
