Blue Jay motel was a great place to stay. The rooms are the perfect size, and had a mini fridge, hair dryer, microwave, and keurig. The beds were very comfortable, and tv had many channels. Check in was very fast and the staff was very friendly, and parking was a breeze. You are walking distance to the beach, strip, and many restaurants. It’s also the perfect place to stay for a show at Wally’s. We will use blue jay again

the room was so hot, the heating system was very weird and really hard to figure out (it was literally on the floor and just had a handle you switched counterclockwise). Other than that, the room was fine, pillows were a little bit hard, but it was clean.

I really hate to do this, but I would have appreciated knowing this. This place was a dive! No space, extremely outdated, no heat in ridiculously small bathroom that had hair all over the floor. The water didn’t drain in sink and it had a repulsive amount of air freshener sprayed to cover up something. This might have been the worst stay of my life! Got up early to head home to shower in a clean bathroom! I highly recommend staying elsewhere!

This was a great spot for us to call home for a weekend in September. We were in town for a road race. Staff friendly and very accommodating when we requested a late check out so that we could shower after the race. Easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Very small room and VERY small bathroom (my partner who is 6'3 struggled in the shower a bit) but we really didn't need more space for the purpose of our stay. The laminate flooring (and NOT carpet) really helped make the place feel clean!

Stayed for a quick overnight for a concert. Honest review….. Location was OK, a little sketchy after dark. Rooms were very small, bathroom tiny. Dated property- chipped paint, old furniture, heat was hard to control. Door’s blinds didn’t even cover the windows fully (we had to hang a blanket). Walls are very thin… if on first floor, be prepared to hear every footstep above you (until well past 1am, for us). Price was still high for off season, but location was convenient. Will say that the bed was very good quality and it was nice to have a smart TV in room.

Terry was great! Super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Loved the tables and seating on the deck. Beds were a bit uncomfortable and parking is tight. Highly recommend and will be back!
