Nestled along a quiet, private road just off the Keuka Lake Wine Trail, and midway between Penn Yan and Hammondsport you'll find recently remodeled; Dozens of Cousins. Perfectly designed for family reunions or large families this lake house is the perfect “home away from home.”

A white picket fence provides a country farmhouse feel, but offers the cool waters of Keuka Lake glistening behind this lakeside beauty. Inside, a beautifully remodeled kitchen boasts custom white cabinetry and quartz counter tops. Entertaining is made easy with a kitchen as well equipped as this. Enjoy the day at the Windmill Farmers Market gathering local produce for meals, and handmade gifts to take home.

The wrap around floor plan opens up to a beautiful expansive porch with white wicker furniture. Ceiling fans help keep you comfortably cool while enjoying the fresh outdoors, and gorgeous Keuka Lake view. A large permanent dock allows for sunbathing, and fishing from the dock. Make sure to bring the marshmallows so you can toast up something sweet at the firepit before retreating to bed for the evening. Back inside, upstairs you'll find comfortably designed bedrooms with original wood flooring.

With plenty of yard space, and lots of room for yard games and fun, you'll want to bring “Dozens of Cousins” too! This lake home is perfectly located within a short drive to the Switzerland Inn and Olney Place, make sure you swing by for a quick bite, or drinks. The Hammondsport town square is just minutes down the road where you'll find quaint dining and boutique shopping. Enjoy a trip to nearby, award winning wineries such as: Rooster Hill Winery, Barrington Wine Cellars, Weis Winery, Ravines, or Domaine LeSeurre Winery! Weekend getaway

Our family loved Dozens of Cousins! The home was perfect. Check in was simple. The home was well equipped and very clean.Plenty of room for our group of 11 adults. Sunsets were amazing. Would definitely rent again.

Winter get a way

House was beautiful and easily accommodated all of us. Only complaint is the furniture is not comfortable, a nice cozy sectional and more comfortable kitchen table chairs would have been perfect.

What a Magical Place!

This was our first visit to the Finger Lakes region of New York and absolutely loved it. Dozens Of Cousins was a fantastic house to stay in. We loved that it was old… But updated so we were extremely comfortable. And the location was perfect… Right on the lake. It was great that the house was within minutes of Hammondsport to shop at the grocery store or eat at restaurants. And you can’t beat being so close to so many wineries. We spent several days hiking either at Watkins Glen or areas near Ithaca. We can’t wait to return here again.

Perfect House in an Ideal Location

The moment we pulled up to the house we were very pleased with the overall appearance and location. Once inside, we were even more impressed. The house was very clean, well appointed and accommodated our party of six adults very nicely. When we exited to the lake side of the house, the view was spectacular and we all immediately headed out on the deck to taken it all in. We had a wonderful experience however we could have stayed a few more days because everything was so nice!

Keuka Compound

Our family rented this for a week. Included adult children and 6 grands under 4. It is located about midway between Penn Yan and Hammondsport. We added the bunkhouse which worked out well. Plenty of parking. Including space for boat trailer. Nice dock space for our 22 foot boat. Nice outdoor space for kids to run around. Water has a gradual slope so we felt safe with the little ones under adult supervision. Enjoyed the fire pit. There are two wineries within walking distance which was nice given the difficulty getting away with all the little ones. Would highly recommend.

Lovely place

We truly did enjoyed our stay !!! (4days) Location was very good. The place needs a deep cleaning , (in my opinion) the floors are beautiful BUT you can brake your neck, their SO slippery literally no socks only shoes on Dinning room table/chairs… beautiful wood but very squeaky … Noise echoes to the 2nd floor 2nd floor bathroom very small Overall nice place but a bit overpriced (for the space)

Pleasant stay

The property was very nice. Great view, spacious and very comfortable. Found a note on the last day that stated not to drink the water and to only use bottled water. We drank the water unfortunately since the note was in a folder and we did not see it until the last day. Something of this importance should be noted on the faucet or on the counter next to the sink before anyone uses the water. Would definitely stay at the property again.

A Wonderful Romantic Getaway!

I rented Dozens of Cousins for Valentine’s Day Weekend, and though I’m sure the property shines in the summer, winter on the lake was a blast. The space was perfect for a cozy getaway, and it’s location can’t be beat for taking advantage of nearby hikes, wineries, breweries, and small town charm. The property management were responsive to our requests and very communicative - we felt well taken care of. I’m definitely looking forward to booking Dozens of Cousins come summer time to enjoy it in its prime season! A shout-out and thank you to the property management, the maintenance assistance from their representative, Marilyn, and to the home owner for a great experience overall.

Dozens of cousins review

Property was excellent, great location, family oriented, beautiful location on the lake. Pricing wasn’t clear at first. Advertised per night but then many other fees and taxes added at the end. This could be clearer up front. Would definitely stay at this location again.
