"What a wonderful time we had hanging out at this property for an extended weekend. Peaceful and secluded, this home backs up to the shoreline and has incredible views from the back deck. Inside is warm and cozy with plenty of room and a nice, big fireplace. Kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms have everything you need. The homeowners, who live close by, were engaging and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We caught fish off of the boat ramp, encountered deer, turkeys, lizards, squirrels and a plethora of birds and watched several barges floating down the river. Round it all out with a fire pit and a peddle boat and we had one relaxing weekend. Husband Greg is already talking about going back and we just got home!"

"The common areas were clean, and breakfast was neat with a decent selection. However, when I entered the room, the bathroom was not clean—there were used towels hanging, so I had to check each time whether the towels were actually clean before using them. The shower booth also hadn’t been properly cleaned; there were old bottles of lotion and other products left there, looking damp and messy. "Breakfast was great. Staff did perfectly. Room was quiet and private in a beautiful setting. Not fancy or modern but what you expect in a cabin in the woods."

"It felt very secluded which is perfect if you are looking for quiet. I highly recommend using the kayaks on the inlet that connects to the property; it was beautiful. Ches was very helpful. The kitchen was clean and had ample dishes and utensils. The bed was comfortable. the bathroom was clean and was bigger than it looked on the pictures."

"The room needed repainting, there was a quarter inch dust on the nightstand lightbulb, the floor lamp did not work, the towels and sheets were thin/torn and stained, and the air conditioner worked only intermittently."
