Welcome to our Cozy cottage located on picturesque Lake Moraine. Situated on a beautifully landscaped lawn, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding Upstate NY mountains. Keep an eye out for the vast wildlife that is home to the lake such as bald eagles, ducks, geese, turtles, crawfish, and an abundance of fish. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Located directly on the water, our property offers the best of outdoor adventures/activities on and off the Lake. Your dream vacation awaits. The cottage comfortably accommodates up to 6 people. Enjoy spectacular lake views from the dining room and living room. A fully equipped modern kitchen with dining room and fireplace allows you to cook your own meals. (Grill conveniently located right outside off the kitchen). The living room features a 50" wall mounted tv with Roku and offers a relaxing view of the Lake. Two private bedrooms- one comes with a queen bed and the other a double. For additional sleeping there is pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Utility room offers a washer and dryer, closet space and cabinets for storage. For your convenience there are 2 bathrooms with showers. Step out of the kitchen onto a small private deck where you can relax and enjoy your morning coffee. Unique to our cottage are an upper and lower deck. The patio-paver upper deck offers seating for outdoor eating, reading, board games, and relaxing. Entertain your family with our outdoor jumbo-sized Jenga and connect 4 games. The wooden lower deck allows you access to swimming, kayaking and fishing during the day and in the evening start a fire in the chimenea while enjoying nighttime views of the Lake. Also available for your outdoor enjoyment we offer 2 single kayaks, and 1 double kayak. A sure hit with family/friends. Life vests available for your safety. For a quiet get-away relax with a book or take a nap on our freestanding hammock. Parking spots available on site for 3 vehicles. We are located approximately 3 miles by car from the prestigious Colgate University in the Village of Hamilton. There you can enjoy the Village Green, restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Perfect long weekend at this lake cottage

We had a relaxing weekend here with everything we needed. We enjoyed the kayaks and the well-stocked kitchen. Water pressure in showers was great, and we appreciated the labeled electrical switches. There were beautiful views out of the many windows. Highly recommend.

Great location, quiet and quaint. Perfect size for a family of 3. Well appointed, everything well stocked and in very good working order. We rented the cottage for our 30th anniversary and we were not disappointed! Very underrated lake and surrounding area. Everything was wonderful! Thank you Christian for such a beautiful place! We will highly recommend this cottage to everyone we know.

Great house for up to 4 people. Right on water with a huge patio & deck along with kayaks to use. Well stocked kitchen for those who like to cook. Really great hair dryer in the main bath. Host left a little treat for us and Keurig coffee was complimentary. We stayed 6 days. Only 5 min drive to Colgate University. Would def recommend.

Wow! A beautiful, clean cabin right on the lake with ALL the amenities. Our host left us a bottle of wine, water in the fridge, and complimentary coffee. So thoughtful! Everything was as advertised and more - We had a GREAT time on the lake - Having the windows open at night was a plus for us since we are from Florida! Will definitely be back.

This lake house is great! It has everything you need inside and two decks to enjoy the lake. the entire living room has windows to enjoy the view. It was super quiet and peaceful when my daughter and I stayed in April. And it's about a 7 min drive to Colgate and only 5 min to price Chopper. :-) Would definitely stay here again.

Two Trips in One

Perfect location when visiting Colgate University for any reason-- but also right on Lake Moraine, allowing for a beautiful and serene setting in and of itself. The cabin could not have been any more accommodating for our needs- and Christian was extremely responsive. Would definitely recommend for a family of 4 (there's even a pullout couch for a 5th person).

Lakefront Gem in Hamilton

Spent our Easter weekend at the Lake Moraine Cottage to visit our son (student at Colgate) and relax. We achieved both goals and the cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay. Christian was a great host and obviously put a lot of TLC into the cottage. The location was perfect and Christian has the best deck set up. The cottage is very quaint and comfortable. While the lake is small you still experience the serenity of waterfront and beautiful surroundings. The cottage is very well kept with updated kitchen and bathrooms.
