"This location is perfect as a base camp for exploring the area. The host was really nice and has outfitted the old cabin and its newer addition with everything you'll need. The host lives next door but is not visible from the cabin, so it feels woodsy! A big plus is that leashed dog(s) are welcome with permission from the host. Mountain roads, woods, starry sky, hidden driveway, tight parking area, table and chairs outside all lend a quaint and peaceful Blue Ridge atmosphere. We loved it!"

"The tiny house is exactly as described. Its small, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location right on the river is fantastic. Being able to have a fire right by the water each night was such a plus. In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive. We will be staying again!!"

The six of us co-habited for a few days and there was plenty of room to move around comfortably without being on top of each other. "We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is in great shape, very comfortable, so tastefully decorated, and I in particular loved the lighting in all the rooms. Lots of attention to detail, including doggy water bowls. We had no issues at all with Wifi or using our phones. The river is a short walk down the road. "The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing vacation to reconnect with our adult children. We were amazed at all the amenities and the attention to detail. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub, grilling, and relaxing with games by the firepit on the back deck. In the mornings we watched the deer and their fawns wander through the backyard. We highly recommend this cabin. While we stayed with all adults, it is very appropriate for children also."

"I rented this cabin to have family time while celebrating our grandson’s 4th birthday. This place was exactly as described. Very clean, beds were very comfortable. All included amenities were more than enough. We enjoyed grilling, fishing, paddle boarding, the hot tub and family time. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We loved the windows and views. The overall experience was amazing. We will definitely rent it out next year. It is truly a cozy cabin."
