Transport from the airport in a taxi cost 30€ and took about 10 to 15 minutes. Taxi/Uber drivers think they are piloting rockets, the speed at times was edge of the seat hold on tight nervy. "Karin is a lovely host. She speaks limited English but we were able to communicate no problem. She was accommodating, helpful and made us feel at home. The apartment has everything that you need and is located in a nice neighborhood. For those looking for a place to stay during Ironman Hamburg, consider this one. The U-Bahn station is about 7 min away on foot. From there, you're 3 stations away from the IM action. Highly recommend this hostess and this apartment. "
