In winter, there are groomed cross-country ski trails as well as the Presterudbanen and Presterudhallen, which are just a short walk away and are known for both ice sports and hockey games. Other special highlights include Domkirkeodden with its glass dome above the medieval church ruins, the modern cultural centre and Hamar's charming waterfront promenade.
