"We had a great snowy getaway. The cottage and the lake were so peaceful and calm. Just what we needed to unwind before the holidays. Inside had everything we needed from cooking utensils to pots/pans and we were able to try out a local restaurants. The host was very welcoming and answered all of our questions."

"This property was a pleasure to stay at. The kitchen was very well equipped and only lacked for proper (glass) wine glasses. The living room had an abundance of good reading lights which is something that many rental cottages lack. It was lovely to hear the babbling river as we enjoyed happy hour on the sunny deck. A real pleasure!"

"Wanted to get out of toronto for a few nights before the kids went back to school. Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing ."

"It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences."

"The property is amazing, it’s beautiful and well kept. The trees offer shade but you get plenty of sun as well. We appreciated the netted gazebo structure when we spent time outside. All appliances and kitchen utensils were provided and easy to find. The dishwasher and cleaning supplies made everything a breeze when cleaning up. The interior was very well kept. "Beautiful cottage on a quiet lake. The cottage has everything you could ask for...kayaks, canoes, Muskoka chairs, fresh towels, board games, campfire area and more! The cottage itself is beautiful - completly renovated and impressively decorated while still maintaining a cottage feel. We were very impressed with our stay and the attentiveness of the owner. Already thinking about coming back next year!"

"Had a great time. Cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Property is spacious and has a fair amount of privacy. Very quiet area. Canoes, kayak and paddle board were all made available. The nearby village has some of the little things you might need and Haliburton has everything else. Overall, a great property at a great location. Highly recommend."
