"Communication with Ellie was seamless and quick response. Check in was a breeze. Didn't need communication after check in because everything was perfect. We thought it was very well appointed and cute inside. The amenities inside were very sufficient leaving us to want for nothing further. Beds are great quality and comfortable. The grill needed to be manually lit but burgers were good just the same. The outside was comfortable as well with the expansive deck and reclining chairs. The openness of the view was peaceful at night to relax to after running around each day. The sounds of nature abound here. Unfortunately, we were only able to Kyack out to the lake our last night. It was such a relaxing paddle through canals to get to lake but so relaxing. Hard to believe I know but no negative here. Did see 1 gator, no snakes. Our Golden was bummed because he couldnt dive off dock into water but he loved the HUGH yard and walks through quiet neighborhood. Thank you Ellie and Gary. Tom"

"While it was pretty clean inside, it seemed like they decided to make this a vacation rental but didn’t prepare for it. There were only 3 bath towels total for 4 of us and they were obviously old towels (bleach stains). No kitchen towels and an old sponge in the sink. The freezer was dirty and it looked like things were just thrown underneath all of the cabinets. The toilet got clogged with every use which is likely an ongoing issue as there was a plunger by that toilet. The outside trash can was very full and we had to leave ours on the ground. Also, we live by a lake so we get it but for guests who may not I think a simple sweeping of the front and garage doors to get the bugs off would be a good idea. The description of the home led us to believe it was much more updated than it was. Not an issue, just an observation. Again it was clean. The grounds were beautiful and it was a good location for us. "

"The back yard view is beautiful. My sons fished off the pier and used the canoe . The house was clean and Decorated nicely with a fully supplied kitchen. Very nice house. We enjoyed our stay"

"We stayed for 10 days in this beautiful lake front home. This house is fully equipped with literally everything you need....and more!! The pool was great, the pool table was fun to use and we caught several bass, catfish, and other fish in the lake. It's gorgeous out there! Driving back and forth to Orlando was easy too. We saw Manatees in Homosassa and ate at several great restaurants in Inverness!! The Cove, Stumpknockers, Coaches, The Hen House, Cedar River Seafood and more!! The house was clean and ready and there was great communication with the owner. My mother lives on Gospel Island right down the street and I would book this house again in a heartbeat! We had a blast together! Thank you for a fantastic Summer Vacation!! It was a dream come true!"

"The property is large and clean. Everything is as advertised and things easy to find. We did not use the canoe but it was there. I would stay here on my next trip to visit family. "

"This rustic lake cabin is on a waterfront lot with a beautiful view of the lake and wetlands with unlimited bird wildlife. The area has large oaks and lush foliage with lots of parks and trails and friendly neighbors and frequent music in the small town of Inverness. The house is older and rustic and the sofas and armchairs are worn and need replacement, but the beds are new and comfortable and the master bath and kitchen are newly remodeled. The screened porch that wraps around the house is a great feature. In all we really enjoyed the stay and would recommend for casual families interested in fishing and nature."

"The cottage was just right for our group. It was clean and inviting. We were able to use the small kitchen with ease and there were plenty of comfortable places to sit back and relax. It was wonderful having a washer and dryer to use. The back porch was private and pleasant. When we had some minor issues the owner responded immediately. I would highly recommend this rental!"
