"This property was one of the nicer properties in Maui that we saw while beach hopping. It was less busy and the beach access was great for snorkeling. Was centrally located to most shopping and dining. Just sad we had to leave."
"Please see my e-mail sent to Epic Realty on 10/22/2023 discussing how uncomfortable I was, that staff complained because the door closed from a wind burst and my friends and neighbors assisted helping with my 6 digit codes that they changed continuously.
Asking assistance from staff has never been this tremulous. They were upset I called to get a new code after all.my possession was in the room.

"We enjoyed having the pool and the beach a few steps away from our room. That was particularly nice given we traveled with our 4 year old daughter. The towel service and outdoor showers also made the beach experience pleasant. I noticed many resorts in Kaanapali are in front of the beach but the beach has little or no sand. This outrigger hotel has a long sandy beach and a relatively short walk from black rock for snorkeling. There are a lot of dining options walking distance and also within a short drive. I was a bit price shocked from Maui prices compra red to Southern California where I come from. Once I got over the price shock I was really happy.
Lastly, this hotel offers daily cultural activities for free! Very knowledgeable and experienced professional facilitators helped us learn about Hawaiian culture. "
"The Hotel Lanai is one of my favorite places. Compared to when I was there in 2016, it has been upgraded significantly. The rooms are amazing! However, the best part of the Hotel Lanai is the bar and restaurant staff. They are the friendliest people I have ever met. I have never come across such a wonderful group of people in my life. My fiancé and I stayed there for three days in July before we went to Kauai and will definitely be returning. I cannot say enough good things about the Hotel Lanai and its wonderful staff. The location is great as well. You have to check this place out if you go to Lanai. I guarantee you that you will not regret it."

"The condo was clean and the starter kit (shampoo, soap, etc) was well stocked. Plenty of towels for 6 people over 2 weeks...which was great!! Balcony has breath taking views of the sunset each night! Host was responsive throughout the visit. The locals living in other condos were welcoming and a great source of information about "must see places" and activities. I'm not sure there is a better site in Lahaina to watch a sunset.I would recommend a bit more transparency with respect to the total property condition and availability of amenities. The property was impacted by the fires in 2023 and many buildings were lost. As a result, some of the associated amenities were not available during our visit (2 of 3 pools were closed or not in operation during our time there)...which would have been nice to know up front.Overall, would definitely choose this spot again"

"Our family of 8 had an amazing stay here. The unit was very clean and spacious. The 3.5 bathrooms were great to have with a larger family, we never felt cramped. The two patios were very nice with ample space and being a few feet away from the ocean was great!The complex is gated and feels very safe, and even has its own little sandy beach just steps away from this unit. Really couldn’t have asked for a better place for our large group. We would absolutely stay here again. "
